Visas: Visas are required by most visitors to Botswana and can usually be obtained at your point of entry

What to pack: Neutral and lightweight clothing is recommended for safaris, a raincoat for the water based activities in essential and comfortable shoes for walking safaris. Don’t forget your safari hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, swimming attire, binoculars and always your camera!

When to visit: Summer rainy season is November to May where you can expect hot and tropical weather with a few thunderstorms. The winter season is June through to August which is very dry and cooler temperatures. September and October are the warmest months, averaging 40 degrees Celsius during the day.
